~Companion dogs are sold only on a strict spay/neuter contract to approved homes only. Occasionally, we will sell puppies to a show/breeding home after references are checked and we meet the prospective owner. These will be sold on a co-ownership until the time that he/she is finished. All testing must be completed before breeding is permitted and agreement is made between all parties involved.
~We will not allow any of our puppies to be adopted into a home where there is no one home for long periods of time. We include in this; individuals that work an eight hour day and drop by to let the puppy out for a quick potty break, and then back to work. We feel that our shelties need and deserve to be with their family more than just evenings and weekends. There are plenty of breeders that do not feel this way, and I'm sure they will have puppies available that would fit your needs better.
~We feel that the combination of the quality of our dogs, coupled with the love and care they receive makes them an awesome addition to any home. Each litter may be priced differently depending on the parents of the pups.
~Ohio residents add 6.5% sales tax.
~Health Guarantee
Each puppy is guaranteed to be free of genetic defects until the puppy reaches two years of age. This guarantee will be gone over more in depth in the Puppy Adoption Contract. If you have any questions regarding the health guarantee, please don't hesitate to contact us. Each puppy has dew claws removed, is vet checked, and is current on all shots and wormings.
~Deposit Information
We do not require deposits until puppies have arrived and you have selected your specific puppy.
A non-refundable $200.00 deposit will hold the puppy of your choice. The deposit will be applied towards the full purchase price of the puppy. Puppies are normally not available to be selected until at least six to eight weeks of age. Puppies will not leave Heartfelt Shelties until they are at least eight weeks of age.
~Shipping Information
If shipping is necessary, pups will be shipped at the buyer's expense at eight weeks of age. We usually ship via Continental Airlines.
~Puppy Pack
A complimentary puppy pack comes with each puppy. The puppy pack contains toys, a blanket with the litter's familiar smell, and lots of goodies to help you get started with your new puppy and make the transition to a new home go as smoothly as possible.
