AKC Steel Valley Cluster in Canfield, Ohio August 2-5. Keenan and Doreen gained many friends and fans this weekend, and we had such a great time! On Saturday he captured the attention of Judge Mr. Roger R. Hartinger who gave him first in the quality packed Open AOAC Class and awarded him WD for his first points with a 4 point major!!! We are so thrilled, and so proud of Keenan and Doreen. Way to go Team Heartfelt!
Ashtabula KC and Grand River KC AKC show in Madison, Ohio. July 13-15. Boy oh Boy! What a wonderful time we had at this weekends shows! It was Keenan's AKC debut here in Ohio and he knew it! He took Open AOAC by storm every day and went RWD every day as well, over some really stunning sables. Everyone was really captivated by our newest bi blue beauty. We cannot wait to get him out there more! Rush also took first in his 12-18 class and really impressed the judges (especially when I noted that he was out of coat). They cannot wait to see more of him. Alex did more showing this weekend, and is really getting to love it. She had a blast with pre-show grooming and really has a knack for it all. She really makes the shows so much fun! What a great weekend!
~Carnation City Kennel Club UKC show in Randolph, Ohio. July 6-8, 2007. What a whirlwind weekend! This was Alex's first weekend showing, and boy did she and Rush make one spectacular team! They got third in their class everyday, and got some really great compliments from all of our judges. Keenan made his debut here in Ohio with a bang, taking first in his class every day and several Reserve Best Males. On Saturday he went Best Male, all the way to BOB, Group 1, and boy did he shine in the BIS ring! He knew he was winning big as he yodeled whenever the judge picked him. We had a really great time!
~McKinley Kennel Club AKC show in Canton, Ohio June 9 and 10, 2007 We had a blast this weekend! We met so many nice and knowledgeable people that helped us so much. Rush took First in the 12-18 month Class on the first day and he took Second in the same class on the second day. A huge thank you to Jessica Starbuck for all of her wonderful tips and advice.
~Carnation City Kennel Club UKC show in Randolph, Ohio. May 19-20, 2007
What a great time we had this weekend! We are proud to announce that we have our first U-CH here at Heartfelt Shelties! We'd like to reintroduce U-CH Paris! Paris made us so proud, taking several Firsts in her class, and going Best Female for the major she needed to finish. Doreen did a fantastic job of showing Paris to her championship! Rush also did wonderful, strutted his stuff like he is already a CH. We didn't bring home any majors, but we added some points nonetheless. He took several Firsts in his class, and two Reserve Best Male's.
~Agathon Kennel Club Sanctioned Match in Navarre, Ohio. April 29, 2007.
We had an awesome time at our first AKC match. Everyone was so nice, and it was such an enjoyable day. We couldn't be more proud of our boys Rush and Logan. Logan took Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Group! He so wanted to go back in the ring, and you could tell he was very proud of himself! Rush did awesome as well, taking Best of Breed and a Group 3 Placement! What a great day we had.
~Ohio Toy Fox Terrier Association UKC Show at Wapakoneta, Ohio. April 20-22, 2007.
We had such a wonderful time this past weekend at the show. We are really proud of Rush, Logan, and Paris. R'Hills Exhilaration "Rush" took first in his class twice and best male once for 35 points and one comp win. The judges loved him and can't wait to see more of him. Paris did wonderful, as well. She took second in her class all the way next to some pretty stiff competition. Heartfelt's Incognito "Logan" made his debut in the NLC: Novice Puppy. He took first in his class three out of four times. The judges loved his spunky attitude and movement.
