The following pics of Carly and Simon were sent in by their mom, Kim. She also added these comments Hi Donna, Here are some pics of Simon herding and Carly & I at an agility trial. (Both sets of pics are from last year, Simon herding trial in Nova, OH.- Sept. 2010, and Carly Aug. 2010 at North Olmsted. I don't have any good pics from this year, yet). Simon, showing in AKC Started level-sheep, was only 18 months old,(LOL! his hair coat was going through the "yearling yuck",) and earned a second place and highest scoring shetland sheepdog in trial at this trial. I have a gal handle him for me to trial him, same gal as we take herding lessons from. If the files are too big, let me know and I'll re-send it an a couple of different e-mails. Sheltie Blessings! Kim & Carly: Heartfelt's You're So Vain, NA,NAJ,OA,OAJ,CL-1,CL2-R,HT,CGC Simon: Heartfelt's The Right Thing To Do, HT,PT,HSA-sheep,HTAD1-sheep" So proud of all of you!!! wtg team :)

TO WATCH HANNA AND SAMI'S VIDEO PLEASE CLICK HERE! WTG Hanna and Sami! Here is what mom, Chris, said about the weekend results: Hi Donna and Doreen, Sorry we missed you. Hanna and Sami did great at the Medina Swarm CPE agility trial. They competed in all eight runs, and qualified in all eight. They earned a title in Level 1, which means they qualified in each game and are ready to move to level 2. Since they "Q"d in all eight runs this weekend they earned a Perfect Weekend Ribbon, and recognition. Sami was all business. You should be proud of Sami, several people approached us to find out where we got her. We heard comments about how nice her build is, what a great disposition she has, and of course how beautiful her coat is. They did the Heartfelt Family proud. Hope Scamp and Lee did well in Dayton. Take care all. Chris"

From Lee (January 2009): "We're back from Wadsworth - Scamp "Q'd" in 5 out of 8 runs! I think he's starting to get the hang of this agility thing. By the way, people are always telling me how much they like his name (he goes by Scampi at the competitions). One lady told me that "Scampi" was the perfect name for a Sheltie!" You guys should be extremely proud of your dogs - they are all absolutely wonderful! We'll be in Wadsworth on Oct. 19th. Hopefully we can do just as well there! Congratulations to Lee and Scamp for doing so fantastic at Marengo. We are so proud of both of you! WTG! Lee, Scamp's other mom and handler says: "Donna, attached are some photos that Kathy took at the competition yesterday - Scamp got his "Q" in Jumpers and came in 1st. There was a professional photographer there and he took some great photos of Scamp - he will have them posted on this website later this week. Scamp had his own cheering section - two people from our special agility classes came down from Findlay and Kathy and I took our friend John with us (he'd never been to an agility competition). Scamp finished the course in 37.18 seconds and I finished in 12 minutes!! I need one of those shirts that says "Great dog - too bad about the handler"!! Next Saturday we go to Montpelier - we're doing Colors, Wildcard and Jumpers. Will send the professional photos as soon as we get them! Lee"

Congratulations to Carly and Kim!! We're so proud of both of you! Carly is pictured here with her "brother" Lance. Here is a letter from Carly's mom, Kim: "Good morning to you all, Introducing: Heartfelt's You're So Vain, CGC. Just a quick update to let you know that my little Carly Girl earned her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) title last evening. Our goal is to work on her herding and agility skills, with a "sprinkle" of Novice obedience mixed in for more added fun. :) I am so proud of my baby girl. For just turning one, she is amazing!!!! I know that I tell you this each time I write, and here I go again: Thank You all for such a great dog!! I know all your hard work while she was a small baby made my job easier as she grew. She has always been a happy, well adjusted, eager to learn sweetheart. Love from Carly Girl and Kim"

Fantastic job, Hanna and Sami! Here is the letter that Hanna sent to us: "Hi!Thanks for the good luck wish. It really helped!Sami and I ran great today! She measured at 15 3/4 inches so she was in the 16 inch jump class. There were 10 runs in this class. And....... we placed first!!!!! Our time was 38.96 seconds and my score was 90!!!!! I was sooo happy!!!! Sami did great!!!! You should have seen her do the weave poles!!!!! She was so excited to run I had to tell her to stay when I took her leash off because she almost took off before they said go.We had so much fun! Before I went out Mom wished me luck and said you go girlfriend, like what you said in your e mail. It made me laugh. We are going to do that from now on!!!!Sami and I fell asleep in the car on the way home. We were really tired from the heat and all the excitement. Thanks Hanna and Sami."

Here is an exciting update on Hanna and Sami! "Hanna has been registered as an AKC junior handler in obedience and agility! She is so excited! Today we are going to youngstown all breed traing center for a training session in a bigger facility, and next week the dynamic duo will do some practice run throughs on the course!!!" And, "Hello Donna and Doreen, just a quick update on Hanna's and Sami's open agility class. They did great. they completed a 15 part course, complete with jumps, dog walk, a frame, and tunnel. Today in class they worked on the A frame and teeter. Sami is a little tentative with the teeter, but absolutely loves the A frame. She flies over it! next Saturday we will do some practice run throughs at Youngstown All Breed training Club. I am so proud of them! Thanks for Sami!!!"

Piper and her mom, Christy, have been working on obedience with private lessons from her friend, Wendy. She is an instructor at the local training club. They plan to attend Columbus All Breed training club this spring for group classes. Piper has mastered most of the basics and they are working on social skills, etc. Christy thinks they can be ready for novice obedience competition this summer. She thinks they will wait until Piper has at least one leg of a CD before starting agility classes. Christy hopes that maybe next year Piper will be ready for the specialty in Atlanta!

Kim, Carly's mom writes the following about her little girl, "Carly is doing super! She is so sweet and so smart! She gets along great with the other pets. The greyhounds just love her! I have been taking her to puppy classes almost as long as I have had her. She loves it and what fun we have! We are a great team and have a strong bond! I have been doing agility, too. We have done three agility puppy courses and we even go to Medina Swarm's indoor facility in Wadsworth, weekly."
-
We received this update on Scamp. Lee writes: "Donna and Doreen: Here's a new photo of Scamp and one of all his ribbons. The patch that says "CL1-F" means that he Q'd in Jumpers and Fullhouse at Level 1 - he can now put that designation behind his name! We've signed up for another trial in Wadsworth on Jan. 26 and 27th - both days - all eight runs! Lee"

Ringo's mom said that Ringo has graduated from Puppy 2 classes. In a couple of weeks the boys are going to start foundation 1 classes. Just a little update on everyone's little Ringo...He started Puppy 2 classes Monday night at the CABTC, did very well in the obedience part and got to spend time on the agility course. He was a little hesitant, but as usual, he caught on quick! Your website is fabulous, I love the puppy updates. Take care, Angela"

Update from mom~ " Hi Donna...well, he graduated from obedience level 1 school!!!! Placed 3rd of 15!!! Mom, Sandy, wrote in that "Logan did great in puppy class training actually heads and tails above all the other puppies because of the wonderful initial training you guys gave him. He is now in Obedience Level 1 training and that is going great. Our goal is for Logan to become a Therapy Dog. My job requires me to be in so many hospitals and nursing homes, I want Logan to be able to give joy to the many elderly patients I see. Right now, we are also working on some fun training so by the time he is certified, he can do a few tricks for the folks too!" Mom will be sending in updated photos soon!
